Cars in German Town Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Police
Officers reported they were notified by a resident who noticed a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Around 50 vehicles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued substance.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Police then located numerous other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report initial examinations indicate the liquid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its source; authorities are currently not cognizant of any injuries in connection with the incident," they stated.

Local authorities said they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the residents for information.

A high-ranking representative commented the attack left him without words and had to be resolved quickly.

"This act affects the very heart of Hanau and revives the wounds of the far-right violent incident in 2020," he posted on online, recalling the killing of nine people by a assailant aiming at people of migrant background in 2020.
